ipe software package provides drawing editor for creating figures in PDF or PS formats, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ipe
ipe is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ipe package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ipe *
You will get with ipe package name, version, architecture and description in a table
